Birding Singapore Botanical garden - 5th of Jan 2017

On the way back to Sweden after a three week vacation in Australia, I had some time to spare during the stop in Singapore. Just like I had on the way to Australia. See blogpost from that visit here.

I took a taxi to Singapore Botanical Gardens and just walked through the park for a couple of hours. Nice place but probably better in the morning. I visited in the afternoon and it was quite hot and the birds were not very active. Anyway, I managed to see five completely new species to me.

Unknown species of Monitor. Possibly Clouded Monitor?

This is a really poor photo but still good enough that I managed to set the species to the bird I had seen. My memory of the bird was actually incorrect here so without the photo it would have gone as an unknown.
